Lunch FIRST
We offer a lunch program on Tuesday and Thursday from 12-1 pm during the summer months for children in our community. A light lunch and fellowship around the table provide an enjoyable time for all. Volunteers from the church prepare the lunch, and children begin gathering around 11:45 am to visit with their friends while waiting to be served. We average 23 meals each day. This program is funded from our 10% Tithe Fund. Each week we set aside 10% of the offering received to be used for mission outreach.

JumpStart Back to School Clinic
This free back to school clinic offers medical screening for children who need it to enter school or play sports in the fall. The medical providers, para-professionals, first responders from the Blue Mound Fire Protection District, and church members volunteer their time to assist with this important clinic. The idea was shared from our friends at the First Christian Church in Decatur, and with their blessing we are providing this service. This clinic has been funded through a start up grant of the National Benevolent Association of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
